維多利亞女王致比利時國王（女王的叔父輩） ，1841 年 4 月 13 日：

"Albert is so much amused at my having got the Island of Hong Kong, and we think Victoria ought to be called Princess of Hong Kong in addition to Princess Royal."

「亞厘畢（王夫）對我取得香港島感到非常好玩，我們覺得維多利亞（女王的長女）除了稱為長公主以外，還應稱作香港公主。」
